“the possibility of feeding the reindeer is wonderful, but in the experience it says "reindeer ride" 10-15 minutes" instead you can only do it for 2 minutes. and instead we thought of doing something much more special. a plate with vegetables and a super little piece of meat is offered for lunch. I make a separate comment for those who tell the local customs: VERY GOOD! but the money spent is really too much to do something like that.”

The farm was very interesting. The young lady in costume that was our guide there was very knowledgeable about Viking life. We found the visit to Viking planet to be very informative. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to take pictures with a green screen that turned us into Vikings. Would recommend this if you want to understand the Viking history and lifestyle.”

Really relaxing experience, beautiful scenery, comfortable carriage ride, very tasty food and wonderful company talking with Annika and Viggo about their family life on the farm. It was a small group of 7 people so it was personal and friendly. Loved meeting the animals and talking with the family. After 2.5hrs Viggo drove us back to the port, even took a longer route to share some local history and sing us a Norwegian song. “We turned up unannounced interrupting Gaute's day, but he dropped everything to provide a wonderful tour of the farm. We were so lucky with the weather which was sunny and bright allowing for the most spectacular views over Vik from the farm. Gaute shares interesting funny stories about the area and the farm. We absolutely loved meeting the chickens (hi Michael!), touring the beautiful garden and of course meeting the alpacas - the 'pretty' one was our favourite!! A true highlight of our trip, we'd love to return!”
