“The train journey was superb. Fantastic views of the fjord as we climbed towards Sweden. Train journey was comfortable. Plenty of seats but get there early for the best choice as some seats do not have a window. Left hand side gets the best views going towards Sweden but you are asked to change sides for the return trip so everyone has the chance to see the stunning views. It was a shame the onboard coffee machine had no milk though. Be aware that it is a 30 minute walk from the cruise port to the station uphill. There were no taxis to help as they were all at the…”

It was like being in a fairy tale. Then an education about Sami culture around a fire in a lavuu, delicious stew, and a Northern Lights ceremony. And as we left the lavuu…there they were. What an absolute privilege.”
